Eric Burdette is an attorney licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Attorney Burdette graduated from Harvard with a BA in Philosophy in 2014. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law where he graduated with honors. During law school, Attorney Burdette was the director of the Emory Law Mock Trial Society, which he led to its highest ranking ever at 9th in the country. Upon graduation, Attorney Burdette was awarded the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award for Outstanding Ability in Trial Advocacy as well as the Order of Barristers National Honor Society Promotion Excellence in Achievement in Advocacy.
Attorney Burdette developed his passion for representing people charged with crimes during the two years he spent at the Dekalb County Public Defender's Office in Georgia. For his work in Public Interest Law, Attorney Burdette was among five law students recognized by the Georgia Bar Association's Young Lawyer Division in 2019. It's his fervent belief that no one's life should be defined by a single decision they made, and that without zealous representation, the state frequently tramples the rights of the accused. He prides himself in his ability to ardently fight for his clients in court while providing the knowledge and understanding they need to navigate the criminal justice system with as little stress as possible.
