December 11, 2018, Somerville District Court case no. 1810CR000389 charging operating under the influence of alcohol (OUI/DWI/DUI) 5th offense. Client is caught on camera blowing through a construction zone, knocking over cones and nearly striking police and workers. Client fails all field sobriety tests. When asked, client denies drinking, then admits to drinking. Police find mostly empty bottle of wine in his vehicle. Attorney Erkan tries the matter to a jury, at which he is able to demonstrate through cross-examination inconsistent stories of all police witnesses. Jury finds client not guilty.
